A new wave of millions of American’s will be upgrading their phone this year.

$350 million was spent on wireless game downloads last year, according to IDC. That’s a 250 percent increase over the year before. Newer phones provide more bandwidth and functions. I’d expect this trend to continue as Americans buy these upgraded phones. In a recent consumer survey, nearly one-third of US households say they plan to buy a cell phone this year.
